1. Kimbra - I know I was a bit delayed on this bandwagoon but ever since about 6 months ago I haven't stopped listening to her first EP and her new record...got this amazing jazzy voice thats just awesomeness 2. Peter Gabriel - Still my all time favorite artist...his most recent work "Up" is truly wonderful and it would be a shame if you didn't listen to it at least once in your life, especially with a nice pair of headphones      3. St. Vincent - Anything by St. Vincent will open up your mind...give it a try wontcha' 4. Coldplay - Rush of Blood to The Head (B-sides) possibly my favorite album of all time, can't go wrong with a couple of b-sides from this masterpiece record 5. Travis - just a fantastic band...favorite song is "Re-offender"...goes back a few years but just timeless fantastic brit poppy-glory

Pat Kirch: Thought About Touring September 25 2012 By: Pat Kirch

When we first started touring I would get so home sick, especially when we were out of the country. I just wanted to get back home. I always enjoyed the shows and meeting everyone but everything else in the day just felt long and dragged out. I didn't have a phone, I didn't know where to eat, so it just became a drag. Sitting on the bus now in England it is strange to think back on those first few tours because it all feels so normal now and I enjoy it and exploring the cities we get to visit. We get to see so many places I would have never thought and we get to continue to come back to these places and see faces over and over again which is what makes it all worth it. I love that when we go to Chicago and see the same faces we have for the past five years. Everyone has grown with us and the music. That is the goal, to be able to write the songs we want and continue to play them for people. Let's do it for years to come. ...

The Maine: Fall Tour w. Mayday Parade & The Postelles September 10 2012 By: Pat Kirch

The Maine will be heading out on their final US tour of 2012 this coming October through November before the band goes away to create their fourth studio album.  Joining them, co-headliners Mayday Parade, with support from The Postelles  The Maine are excited to be sharing the stage once again with Mayday Parade after almost 4 years. Pat Kirch stated “We are excited to make each night of the tour a unique experience for the fans and ourselves. Our goal is to perform a different set each night of the tour to avoid a repetitive show”.
